“Marchant Manufacturing is a long-standing, supplier of retail polythene bags. Our focus at Marchant’s is on supplying you with a quality product, on-time, every time. We supply many of the UK’s largest supermarkets with polythene sacks, which include refuse sacks, wheelie bin liners, garden sacks, food and freezer bags, as well as much more.
We have been trading for over 70 years and we have built our business to become one of the UK’s leading polythene bag manufacturers and suppliers. We manufacture and supply over 6 million bags a week, every week of the year. We have 140 people and 16 extruders manufacturing polythene films at our site in Haverhill, Suffolk and we have partner companies manufacturing for us in Asia. Everything we supply is produced to ISO 9002 standards, and because we have our own on-site quality inspection team using the latest inspection equipment, you can be sure on getting excellent bags from us every time you order.
We offer all our customers a full sales and account management service through our sales agent, Robinson Young. Our philosophy is to give our customers a level of service that allows them to focus their attention elsewhere, confident that through our knowledge of films, our quality processes, our reliability and responsiveness that the right products will be on the shelves at the right time.
