Biodegradable bags

Safewrap Biodegradable Bags are as strong as ordinary polythene bags but will degrade harmlessly leaving only negligible amounts of carbon dioxide, water and biomass. After the bags useful life the degradation process begins. Heat and light act as catalysts and once the process is initiated it will continue even in a landfill, or under water.

The biodegradable bags are exceptionally strong at very thin gauges. This has the environmental benefit of reducing the amount of material you need and also better enabling biodegradation. These bags are available in a range of sizes under the Safewrap brand or own label.

Shredder bags

A new range of Safewrap Shredder Sacks designed to fit into almost every Shredder on the market. Bags are available printed in 40, 100, 150, 200 and 250 litre sizes in easy to use dispensor boxes. Available under the Safewrap brand or own label.

Handy Bags

Safewrap Handy Bags are a roll of individually packaged small tie handle bags perfect for handbag, cars, dog walking, trips away and many other places.

They are perfect for garage forecourts and places where people make impulse buys such as till-facing. They are supplied on strips and tear off individually Suggested rrp £0.99 per roll.

Compostable bags
Available now
Safewrap Compostable Bags will degrade as compost in Industrial Composting sites in 6-8 weeks. Made 100% from corn starch the bags will pass EN1432, OK Compost and the new EN14995 standard for compostable bags.

These bags will be available in a range of sizes under the Safewrap brand or own label.

Budget refuse sacks

A range of Budget Refuse sacks is being designed for the lower costs retail outlets. These bags will be manufactured from higher-strength films to maintain strength performances. These will be available under Budget packaging or as own labels.
